The topography in Israel runs from north to south. The coastal road is the western gradient of Israel, the mountain range from north to south- the central gradient, the eastern Jordan valley rift is the third.  Perhaps life can also be measured in gradients.

The coastal road, from Haifa to Tel-Aviv is about an hour drive.  The music which I listen to during this stretch of travel is that of the landscape.  It is the rhythms and tonalities of the land, the rock, the erosion and history; the encroachment of construction and mega buildings, hi-tec factories and residential towers.  The beauty of nature.  Each strip has its own tempo, texture and speed.  Nature will define itself with many subtleties of color and harmony; I listen to them and record the transformations, the dissonance and the uniqueness of each instrument and melody.

I have experienced this changing symphony many times.  What is it telling me?  What does it mean?

I learn to accept its rhythms and uniqueness.

A relationship between us continuously evolves and is expressed through gray transitions and colored highlights.

It’s a tune of love interwoven with doubts.
